Expect construction delays on 520 bridge this weekend

If you plan on using the 520 floating bridge to cross Lake Washington this weekend, make other plans.
Crews will shut down the bridge in both directions from 11 p.m. Friday, Feb. 12, to 5 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 13.
The Washington State Department of Transportation will close all lanes and ramps of SR 520 between Montlake Boulevard and 92nd Avenue Northeast. Expect delays on the alternate routes.
On Saturday morning, you’ll see new toll-rate signs near 84th Avenue Northeast.
Once the new 520 bridge is in its final lane configuration, the toll equipment will move to a permanent location just east of the Evergreen Point lid.
