Seattle police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man connected to two high-profile jewelry thefts, including an alleged robbery at Tiffany & Co. in Downtown Seattle back in January.

Surveillance footage shows a white male in his 20s, approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall, with a slim build, short dark hair, and an estimated weight of 160 pounds.

Officials say the suspect entered the luxury retailer on Pine Street around 4:40 p.m., pretending to be a customer. Witnesses say he looked nervous and was visibly shaking as he asked to try on a bracelet worth $27,000. Once the bracelet was on his wrist, the man sprinted out of the store.

A store security guard tried to tackle the man, but he broke free. Moments later, he got into another struggle with a Pacific Place Mall security officer. Although the suspect escaped a second time, the bracelet was pulled from his wrist and returned to the store.

Investigators believe the same man is also linked to an earlier incident in Bellevue. On December 26, 2024, a bracelet valued at $16,000 was stolen at Bellevue Square.

Despite collecting evidence from both scenes, authorities have not yet identified the suspect. The Seattle Police Department is asking that anyone with helpful information call 911.
