34-year-old man in serious condition after Lynnwood shooting, suspect at large

A 34-year-old man was injured in a shooting in Lynnwood Tuesday night, prompting a Lynnwood Police Department (LPD) investigation.

Officers responded to reports of shots fired at approximately 7:45 p.m. near 200th Street SW and Highway 99, according to KIRO 7.

As officers arrived on the scene, they located the injured victim and provided aid.

The victim was taken to Harborview Medical Center soon after in serious condition.

LPD said that the suspect(s) fled the scene in a vehicle, though its make and model have not been released.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has information regarding the shooting is urged to contact LPD at crimetips@lynnwoodwa.gov.
