A man wanted for murder in Oregon was found and arrested in Skagit County after he entered a pizza parlor with a firearm.
Deputies with the Lane County Sheriff’s Office in Oregon were called to a residence in a South River Road neighborhood in Eugene due to “suspicious circumstances.” They entered the home after receiving information from an out-of-state caller, finding a 44-year-old woman, Yuvonne Allison, stabbed to death.
The sheriff’s office identified a 47-year-old man as a primary suspect and notified the Sedro Woolley Police Department that the suspect might have entered Washington.
Approximately one hour later, police spotted the same man walking into a pizza shop in Sedro Woolley with a gun, according to KIRO 7, where he allegedly snuck behind the bar and went into the beer garden to eat pizza and drink some alcohol. A video of the suspect in the restaurant can be seen here.
The police department notified the restaurant to evacuate quietly. Once that was done, police, deputies, a crisis negotiation team, and a SWAT team arrived and surrounded the building. The suspect allegedly tried to climb a wall to escape, but was captured and arrested.
This is a developing story, check back for updates
