Surveillance video captures fireworks hurled from SUV in Pinehurst neighborhood

After several North Seattle residents reported loud firework explosions in their neighborhood, one homeowner filmed a video of people throwing fireworks out of a car into the street and driving away.
Early Thursday morning, the Pinehurst neighborhood woke up to what were described as “loud booms” at approximately 5:40 a.m., according to a Pinehurst Facebook group post.

Several other group members acknowledged the early-morning blasts, with many stating that it was most definitely a firework blast.
KIRO Newsradio obtained surveillance video of the incident, filming a driver cruising down the street and throwing fireworks into the street near the 12000 block of Hiram Place N.E.
“An SUV drove past our house and threw out a firework,” Pinehurst resident Steven Stelter stated. “As I was investigating, I heard more booms south of our home. Apparently, this has been happening for a while this morning, per the Pinehurst Neighborhood Facebook.”
Stelter noted that they dropped the firework directly in front of his home, located near the Lake City Dick’s Drive-In.
Another Pinehurst Facebook group member claimed that she has heard firework blasts the past three nights at varying times throughout the night.
