2016 will be the year words ceased to have meaning, thanks to Trump

Donald Trump once again pushed the latest Hillary Clinton email story to the back of the internet as he rewrote history.
“President Obama, he is the founder of ISIS. He’s the founder of ISIS. He’s the founder. He founded ISIS!” he yelled.

He said it three times. And then he decided to go on CNBC tp say it again.
“Absolutely the founder. In fact, he gets the most valuable player award. Him and Hillary,” he explained.
He then went on with talk host Hugh Hewitt who tried to bail him out… no way:
“You meant that he created the vacuum. He lost the peace…”
“No. I meant he’s the founder of ISIS…” Trump responded.
“But he’s not sympathetic to them. He hates them. He’s trying to kill them,” Hewitt said.
“I don’t care. He was the founder,” Trump said once again.
So it’s not a metaphor. It’s not satire or sarcasm. It’s not a joke. It’s not a slip of the tongue or a misunderstanding. It’s not a mischaracterization, or out of context. And it’s not fabricated by an incompetent, disgusting reporter from the mainstream media.
Donald Trump believes that it was Barack Obama who organized the remnants of Iraq’s disbanded army and created the religious justification for an Islamic Caliphate — all of which he would have to have done while he was running for the Senate in 2004.
You know what — I think we should fact check that. Here’s CBS’s Major Garrett.
“Part of Trump’s argument is that the U.S> troop withdraws created a security vacuum in Iraq that the terror group exploited.”
But see I have to stop him there. Because Trump did not merely say that Obama was responsible for the military vacuum that allowed ISIS to form. But that is not what Trump said.
“I call president Obama the founders of ISIS. They’re the founders,” Trump said.
And I call 2016 the year that words ceased to have meaning.
Ratings challenged @CNN reports so seriously that I call President Obama (and Clinton) "the founder" of ISIS, & MVP. THEY DON'T GET SARCASM?
