Listen to Dave Ross Commentary: God and the Internet: They’re always watching

Whether you’re religious or not, you might as well believe in God. Because a key component of belief in God is that there is this entity which can see you even in your private moments.

–That even though there are seven billion people in the world, this almighty entity is watching EACH ONE OF US 24/7, and will one day judge us in a court from which there is no appeal.

You might as well believe that, because that is the world we live in, and the latest example is the case of Hillary Adams, who one day 7 years ago knew her father was about to grab the belt and do what he’d done before — and decided it was time to set up a camera:

William Adams thought it was just a moment in time…

Something done in private that would fade with memory. He was wrong.

Warning: Disturbing video:

“Nearly 2 million people have watched the video online,” said one news report.

But the gavel has fallen on this case. And it’s worse because his daughter suffers from a form of Cerebral Palsy…and because he’s a judge running for office.

His daughter is now 23 and says she doesn’t want to see her father burn.

“I want my father to get all the help that he can get. He’s a broken person. He just needs so much support.”

But that is out of her hands. The concept of God and the Internet are slowly merging. Both work in mysterious ways, both render eternal judgment, and neither one of them misses a thing.
