You did it again, when you mentioned the income tax on the rich you kept wanting to portray the poor as stupid for not voting for it. Yet you fail to mention that after 2 years the state legislature can change any initiative and we know they would lower the rate to everyone thereby making the poor pay more taxes please mention this next time, but you I’m sure you won’t because it’s better to portray the masses as dumb and you as so smart.

Thanks Kris, and you’re right, legislators could extend it to lower incomes — that’s the law.
But if they want to get re-elected, why would they? Are you implying our legislators would punish the masses with an extended income tax, and then the masses would re-elect them anyway? Because that would mean we have some really dumb masses!
Although…
…that would mean that ultimately the voters turned down the income tax to protect themselves from themselves — which I guess makes them diabolically smart! OK, you win.
