Does this politician even know who he’s dealing with?

There’s been a hitch in President Trump’s Obamacare repeal. Conservatives in the House who call themselves the Freedom Caucus, led by Representative Mark Meadows of North Carolina, don’t like what they see.

“My big concern is, will it drive down insurance premiums? And the analysis I’ve done at this point would suggest that it doesn’t. and it doesn’t even cover as many people as perhaps we have right now,” he said.
The president warned the hold-outs they could lose their seats – but Representative Meadows told CNN he refused to bend.
“Of course I would be not honest if you say are you worried about that type of political pressure, he said. “But I can tell you this, I believe when the president understands the fact that this is not going to really help millions of people, he will be with us on our side.”
Pretty gutsy. And I thought to myself, does he know who he’s dealing with?
And then I heard him on Major Garrett’s podcast, “The Takeout,” where Major talks to politicians over dinner. Major always asks what kind of music they listen to. And when he asked Rep. Meadows what kind of music he enjoys, his choice made me smile.
“The Music Man” and all of the songs that went with “The Music Man” the musical is something I enjoyed very much,” Meadows responded.
Number one favorite, “The Music Man.” It’s the story of a salesman who came to town looking for trouble so that he could promise to make River City Great again. Hey, at least it has a happy ending.
