The Mueller report is in. Attorney General William Barr says there’s no evidence of collusion or obstruction of justice, upending the Democrats 2020 game plan.

“There is no proof that members of the Trump campaign conspired or coordinated with Russia in its efforts to influence the 2016 Presidential election.”

Mueller himself did not reach a conclusion on whether the president obstructed justice, and some Democrats see an opening there. But if Mueller – whose credibility Democrats never questioned – couldn’t nail down a solid obstruction case after 2,800 subpoenas, 500 search warrants, and 500 witness interviews, it’s time to face reality.

Everyone knows the president thought the investigation was a witch hunt and a hoax; everyone knows he thought Mueller was rigging the whole thing.

As the president has hyped: “Robert Mueller put 13 of the angriest Democrats in the history of our country on the commission. Now, how do you do that? These are angry, angry people, you take a look at them!”

So we know he hated it. But even if there was obstruction in his heart, the investigation ran its course. And miracle of miracles — that rigged investigation with all those angry Democrats ended up letting him off the hook. Take that, Deep State!

So now can we spend time on other things? Like well-paid jobs in places that have been neglected, drugs prices that let you keep your health and your house, and maybe someone could even slap a little Rust Oleum on a bridge or two.
