The Never Trump movement was tame compared to the anti-Hillary movement

It’s true that the Republicans presented a very dark vision of America in Cleveland during the Republican National Convention, but in Philadelphia, there are some Democrats with an even darker vision of life under Hillary Clinton.

“I really believe that we live in North Korea or some kind of communist country … for the amount of corruption we have,” one woman at the anti-Hillary demonstration explained.

What would Hillary do as president? I asked her. Would she make us all assemble in the public square and march?

“Problem is you can’t trust her at all,” she responded.

And for most of the people at this anti-Hillary demonstration downtown, it wasn’t about a particular policy or promise, it was Clinton herself.

I asked one person at the demonstration what Clinton would have to do to get her vote.

“There’s nothing she could do to get my vote,” she explained.

What really surprised me were the women who thought the FBI went too easy on her. Deb Della Piana, from Massachusetts, said Clinton should have been indicted and that she’s a criminal.

Karen Wadell, from Seattle, said she was hoping Clinton would be indicted.

But unlike most of the other women I talked to, Wadell was at least willing to compromise — somewhat.

“Probably when push comes to shove I’ll end up voting for her, but I’m not ready to be nice yet,” she said. “At this point, I still hold out some hope that a good candidate will get the job, like Bernie.”
