You call this a feud?

Listen to Dave Ross Commentary: You call this a feud?

Republican leaders are gnashing their teeth over how bitter the primary race has become. How bitter? Here’s a robocall sent out by Rick Santorum urging Michigan DEMOCRATS to crash the Republican primary:

“That’s right, Michigan Democrats can vote in the Republican primary on Tuesday,”

But tell us, Mr. Robot, why would a Democrat vote for Rick Santorum?

“Romney supported the bailouts for his Wall Street billionaire buddies, but opposed the auto bailouts and we’re not going to let Romney get away with it.”

This kind of stuff really has the party in a panic. But I have to say Republicans, you have it easy. Perhaps you’ve forgotten, but exactly four years ago, Democrats were hearing THIS:

“Enough with the speeches and the big rallies and then using tactics that are right out of Carl Rove’s playbook. This is wrong and every Democrat should be outraged,” said one angry Hilary Clinton – February 27, 2008.

“Since when do Democrats attack one another on universal health care,” said Clinton.

Barack Obama was “undermining core democratic principles.”

“So shame on you Barack Obama it is time you ran a campaign consistent with your messages in public,” said Clinton.

Shame on you! And today, she works for the man!

So this Republican feud is nothing compared to the Democrats, although I give Santorum points for trying:

“I supported Mitt Romney when it was down to Romney and McCain. You know what, fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice shame on you,” said Santorum.

I dunno, that MIGHT good enough to make Secretary of Education. But if you want to make Secretary of State, you’ll have to take it up a notch.
