Manda Factor joins Charlie Harger on "Seattle's Morning News" on KIRO Newsradio.
Veteran journalist Manda Factor has been named co-host of “Seattle’s Morning News” on KIRO Newsradio, joining Charlie Harger on the station’s flagship morning program. It broadcasts live weekdays from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m.
Factor, a Pacific Northwest native with 35 years of journalism experience, will bring her award-winning reporting and anchoring background to the weekday show. She joins Harger, who took over the morning anchor role in January.
Factor is a recipient of multiple Edward R. Murrow and Associated Press Television Radio Association (APTRA) awards. A graduate of both the University of Washington and Washington State University, she grew up in Olympia and has maintained strong ties to the Puget Sound area throughout her career.
“I am beyond excited to join Charlie and the KIRO team,” Factor said. “There is so much happening in the world, and I’m passionate about diving into those stories for our listeners.”
