CMDR. Kirk Lippold was commanding the USS Cole on October 12, 2000, when an al-Qaeda suicide boat blasted a 40-by-60-foot hole in his ship, killed 17 sailors, and wounded 37. Two administrations did nothing in response. Eleven months later, 9/11 happened.
Now he's warning America about the next attack vector it's not prepared for: drones.
