John Curley Roasts Seattle's $240M Light Rail Station
Seattle built a $240 million light rail station at Pinehurst that may serve about 1,000 riders — which works out to roughly $250,000 per person. The zoning was never finished. Developers say the numbers don't work. And the station exists because one council member kept saying "equity" until everyone gave in.
