Seattle Woman Bit by Stranger in Broad Daylight
Diana Gonzalez was walking to 7-Eleven on her work break in downtown Seattle when a stranger started throwing trash at her, hurling racial slurs, and then spat on her. When Diana confronted her, the woman grabbed her, pulled her down, and bit a quarter-sized chunk out of her forehead.
The attacker, 36-year-old Camelia Chadli, fled to a nearby bus stop and lied about what happened. She has a lengthy history of police interactions, a prior misdemeanor assault arrest, and had been emergency detained for mental health evaluation before this incident. A judge has now ordered another mental health evaluation.
