The Tax Mayor Wilson Built Is Hollowing Out Downtown

A new Downtown Seattle Association report tells the story in numbers. Thirty thousand jobs gone since 2020. A third of downtown office space empty. Nearly half the value of the office towers wiped out. Amazon has shifted 14,000 employees eight miles east to Bellevue, where downtown office values rose 7%.
