Sip & Savor: Art Uncorked, a Cooking Class, and a New RailSpur Business

Hosted at Mercer Island’s Greta Hackett Outdoor Sculpture Gallery, Art Uncorked, an event presented by the Eastside town’s chamber, will give attendees a chance to sample sips from more than 20 wineries, peruse food trucks, check out artisan booths, listen to live music, and more. A Cooking Class

Head to Seattle’s Belltown neighborhood Aug. 28 for the latest cooking class put on by the Hot Stove Society. Set at the Hotel Ändra, this week’s edition will show participants how to make a handful of international street eats — among them are beef bulgogi kimbap and pork belly pinch buns — for the price of an $80 ticket. If you can’t make this particular date of the series but are curious about what the Hot Stove Society is offering, fear not: the next batch of cooking courses falls on Sept. 4 and Sept. 5.
