Washington’s second In-N-Out has opened on Thursday in Vancouver, just months after the popular fast-food eatery set up shop in the state for the first time.

The California-based burger chain has expanded its reach even further in Washington with its newest burger joint located at 13511 S.E. 3rd Way, In-N-Out announced.

The restaurant will employ more than 100 In-N-Out Burger associates, with wages beginning at $19.25 per hour, according to KIRO 7.

Vancouver location features drive-thru, 84 indoor seats, covered patio

Drive-thru and dine-in seating will be available in the restaurant Monday through Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 1 a.m., staying open for an extra 30 minutes on Friday and Saturday.

Vancouver’s location will have one drive-thru lane, indoor seating for 84 customers, and a covered patio with outdoor seating for 28 guests.

In-N-Out now populates several states throughout the U.S. Once a California-based burger spot only, it has since expanded into Oregon, Idaho, Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, Utah, Texas, and Tennessee, in addition to Washington.

Washington’s latest In-N-Out will be managed by Michael Mithcell, a veteran with the chain for 23 years, according to a news release obtained by KIRO 7.

In-N-Out Burger has an established team of “All-Stars” — a group of experienced, reliable, and trustworthy employees — who open new stores around the nation. The All-Stars team works at a new store for the first couple of months to make sure everything is running smoothly before handing the location off to the local team.

The All-Stars are known as In-N-Out Burger’s 470 Team.

WA’s first In-N-Out drew hours-long lines at Ridgefield opening

In August 2025, Washington’s first In-N-Out location opened in Ridgefield, and with it came incredibly long lines and wait times. Some customers had to wait a couple of hours before they could place their order.

The first person to place an order at the Ridgefield In-N-Out Burger was Kevin Kehn from Milton. He arrived at the drive-thru line at 8:15 p.m. the night before, 14 hours before the store was officially scheduled to open.

The 76-year-old California fast-food chain is known for its burgers, fries, milkshakes, and a secret menu, where customers can order their food “animal style” with a variety of add-ons that include melted cheese and grilled onions on fries, and a mustard-cooked burger patty with pickles, grilled onions, and extra In-N-Out special sauce.

The closest In-N-Out location for Seattle consumers was previously in Keizer, Oregon, before Ridgefield was awarded a location roughly 150 miles away. Before that, Oregon’s spot was more than 200 miles away from Seattle.

In-N-Out sign in Seattle’s Wallingford proven fake

While In-N-Out has already grabbed locations in Ridgefield and Vancouver, could the famous fast-food chain establish a foothold in Seattle?

In June 2025, an In-N-Out sign mysteriously appeared in a Wallingford neighborhood, sparking speculation about whether the burger joint plans to continue expanding further North.

A photo of an In-N-Out poster with the words “Coming 2026” was shared in a Seattle Reddit group over the weekend, which gave Seattle’s In-N-Out fanatics some false hope.

The poster was set up on the former Aqua Serene Hydro Gardens building, which has been vacant since 2018, creating a theory that In-N-Out could potentially fill the void.

The poster had been removed later that week, expanding the argument for people questioning its legitimacy.

Mike Abbate, vice president of store development for In-N-Out, dispelled the rumor in a statement.

“While we very much look forward to opening the first In-N-Out Burger location in the state of Washington soon, unfortunately, any information regarding plans to open a location in the Seattle area is inaccurate,” Abbate told KIRO Newsradio.

For feminists, the deaths of Parton and Steinem days apart deliver a double dose of grief

One shaped and delivered the language of feminism. The other rejected the label but showed how feminism can be done: with a microphone dusted in rhinestones, and without apology. Gloria Steinem and Dolly Parton embodied two towering versions of the same idea: that women should know themselves well enough to make their own choices about […]
