Beth’s Cafe reopens 24/7 service

According to a social media post on July 31, after months of gradually expanding its hours, Greenlake’s beloved Beth’s Cafe is now open 24/7.

The restaurant, part of the neighborhood’s landscape since 1954, first made a name for itself as a nickel-slot gambling parlor before transitioning to “greasy spoon” cuisine, serving up renowned dishes like the 12-egg omelet, according to its website.

The most recent expansion in hours is the second act of the cafe’s comeback after reopening in 2023 after a pandemic-era closure.
