Feb 6, 2014, 9:49 AM | Updated: 11:41 am

Forecasters say there’s a chance of light snow in places Thursday night and Friday night in Western Washington.

“We will see increasing clouds this afternoon, could see a chance of some flurries mainly south of Tacoma late this afternoon or early this evening,” says KING 5’s Rich Marriott.

Below-normal, frigid temperatures are forecast to continue into the weekend in Washington.

Lows in Eastern Washington will be in single digits, and there is a chance of light snow in Eastern Washington through the weekend.

A warmer, wetter pattern is expected to move into Washington next week with temperatures returning to seasonal norms.
