Driver flees Mason County deputy, crashes

A driver attempting to flee a Mason County deputy crashed on State Route 302 Tuesday morning.

A deputy attempted to stop the car for a traffic violation around 3 a.m., but the driver sped off, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The passenger in the car fled on foot, but was later found.

No injuries were reported.
