Friends fundraise for Issaquah native who lost foot in Boston bombings

A woman who lost a foot in the Boston terror attack is an Issaquah native and her friends are working to help her cover medical bills.
The website Fund for Adrianne was set up by the owners of the dance studio where she teaches:
Adrianne Haslet and her husband Adam Davis were both severely injured in the Boston Marathon bombing. They were enjoying a beautiful day off together. Adam just returned from a tour of duty in Afghanistan a couple of weeks ago and Adrianne was on her normal day off from her work as a Dance Instructor at the Boston location of the Arthur Murray Dance Studio. The day turned to tragedy for so many, as we all know. We want to show Adrianne and Adam that their friends and loved ones are here for them and will support them through the pain and suffering.
I am married to the owner of several Arthur Murray Dance Studios in the Boston area, Mark Lightner. Adrianne is a dear, dear friend and incredible member of our staff. We are certain that if she wants to, she will dance again. She is one tough cookie and inspiration.
According to KOMO News, after Adrianne receives her prosthetic foot and completes her physical therapy, she plans to return to the dance floor and is also determined to run in next year’s Boston Marathon.
So far, her friends have raised over $50,000 but are still a long way from their goal of $250,000.
