The search is on for a hit and run driver who struck a woman pushing a stroller Friday afternoon in North Seattle.
Seattle Police say the 32-year-old woman and a young child, who was in the stroller, were walking in the area of 140th Avenue NE and NE 19th Street in the Olympic Hills neighborhood when the driver of a sedan hit her and then sped away.
The suspect’s vehicle is described as a dark sedan, either a maroon Acura or a dark brown Mercedes, but witnesses agreed it had a cracked windshield. Witnesses described the driver as an Asian male with spiked black hair.
The woman suffered a lower leg injury. The child in the stroller was not injured.
Seattle Police traffic collision investigators are working the case.
