It was a smoky commute for many Seattle drivers.

A fire in the median of I-5 south of the West Seattle Bridge reduced visibility for those on the road on Friday morning.

“Be very cautious driving between Boeing and the West Seattle Bridge,” the Washington State Department of Transportation tweeted out.

The Seattle Fire Department blocked the left two lanes of southbound I-5 at Michigan Street to fight the fire.
