Update: A tornado touched down on the Oregon coast, causing damage in Manzanita.

A flood of tornado warnings have been issued for both the Oregon coast and Washington coast as both states prepare for more strong winds through the weekend.

KIRO 7 reports a tornado warning was in effect in Clatsop and Tillamook counties until 8:45 a.m. A new warning went into effect until 9:45 a.m. that included Rockaway Beach, Bay City and Garibaldi. Another warning was added for Cannon Beach and Arch cape until 10:15 a.m.

No reports of injuries have been made.

Meanwhile, the National Weather Service reports that a cluster of thunderstorms on the Washington coast produced 160 lightning strikes in an hour Friday morning.

All of this is being reported as the second of three storms makes its way over Western Washington. A windstorm knocked out power to pockets of the region Thursday night and Friday morning. More wind is expected for Friday before things start to calm a bit.

The third and final storm of the week is expected to come in Saturday evening. The National Weather Service is expecting it to be a major event that could knock out power to thousands.
