A man walking with his girlfriend early Friday in Seattle’s Belltown neighborhood was fatally stabbed after they got into an argument with four men.

“Sometime during that confrontation, one suspect out of that group that he had the argument with, stabbed the victim in the chest,” says Seattle Police Detective Mark Jamieson.

Fire Department medics took the victim, in his 20s, to a hospital where he later died.

The attack occurred around 1:45 a.m. in the 2200 block of 1st Avenue in Seattle.

Police say the four men drove off in an gray SUV or pickup truck. The suspects are described as Hispanic males.
