One person killed in Bremerton apartment fire

One person was reportedly killed in an apartment fire in Bremerton on Christmas Eve.

As many as two dozen people may be displaced in the 2-alarm fire at the Madrona Estates Apartments on Auto Center Way.

Fire crews have not yet been able to make it into the building, but the Kitsap Sun reports the victim’s apartment and the one above it were destroyed in the fire.

The cause of the fire is not yet known.
