Seatac minimum wage now leads by just 19 votes

The measure to raise the minimum wage in SeaTac to $15 an hour now leads by just 19 votes after the latest count Wednesday afternoon.

King County Elections reported an additional 156 ballots from SeaTac were counted Wednesday.

SeaTac Proposition 1 gained 66 yes votes, for a total of 2,749.

Ninety no votes were added to the tally, giving opponents a total of 2,730 votes.

The measure is all but certain to be heading for a recount.

An estimated 250 to 350 ballots remain. The final results will be certified on Nov. 26.
