Seattle nanny pushes stroller out of car’s path

A nanny risked her life to save the baby in her care Saturday night.

It was about 6 p.m. when the 1-year-old and her nanny were crossing South McClellan Street in Seattle at a crosswalk.

A driver pulled up, but apparently didn’t see them. After pausing at the intersection, the car plowed forward.

The nanny saw the car coming and shoved the stroller out of the way, but the car hit her.

The woman was thrown onto the hood, breaking the windshield and possibly her shoulder. The baby was not hurt.
