Sixth arrest linked to Washington State Patrol Trooper killing

A sixth person is under arrest in connection with the murder of a State Patrol trooper last week in Kitsap County.
The county sheriff reports that a man was arrested Monday on a charge of rendering criminal assistance but there are no more details.
Five others are already accused of helping the man suspected of shooting to death trooper Tony Radulescu, near Gorst Thursday.
Four suspects made preliminary appearances Monday afternoon in Kitsap County District Court in Port Orchard. They include Megan G. Mollet, 18, who was a passenger in the pickup driven by Joshua Blake when he was pulled over along Highway 16 early Thursday morning.
When questioned, Mollet denied knowing Blake.
Two other people, Corinne Leah Nelson, 26, and Andrew William Bartlett, 30, gave Blake a ride from a Port Orchard house, where he abandoned his truck, to the trailer where he shot himself, authorities said. Another person, Daniel Lee Carter, 37, helped provide that getaway car, police said.
Blake’s former girlfriend, Jessi Leigh Foster, 32, was arrested Thursday after Blake shot and killed himself. She’s accused of trying to help him flee. She appeared in court Friday and is held on $500,000 bail.
In Olympia, Governor Chris Gregoire has directed that state agencies lower flags to half staff Thursday in memory of the slain trooper. A memorial service for Radulescu will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the ShoWare Center in Kent.
