Tacoma man jailed for threatening to kill wife over ashes

A Tacoma man is in jail for allegedly threatening to kill his wife for signing for his fathers ashes.

The News Tribune reports the woman signed for the man’s dead father’s ashes when a UPS worker delivered the urn Tuesday.

When the man returned home, police say that her husband lost control and threatened to kill her while holding a gun to her head.

The woman was able to get away and call police.

Authorities currently have the man in custody and have seized several other weapons in the home.
