Two year old girl hit, killed by car in Redmond

A 2-year-old girl was killed after being hit by a vehicle at the Redmond Town Center Wednesday afternoon.
“Our thoughts are with the family,” the Redmond Police Department tweeted after confirming the fatality.
The girl ran out into the street as a vehicle approached a stop sign, according to Charles Gorman of the Redmond Police Department. The car was traveling at a low speed and coming to a stop, he said.
The driver is cooperating with police, Gorman added.
