Dori Monson is on a once-in-a-lifetime fishing trip to Sitka, Alaska with 710 ESPN’s Brock Huard and Tom Nelson. Follow along with Dori’s travel log to live vicariously through all of their adventures.

Wednesday, May 29

While Dori was still in the air, Brock and Tom got on the water.

Dori arrived in Alaska to a feast of fish, perfect preparation for the piscatorial activities ahead of him.

Before the fishing could begin, however, a little shopping was in order. After all, the boys have to bring gifts for their spouses and friends back home.

Thursday, May 30

Then the life-altering moment finally happened — Dori caught his first fish ever.

But, with a tad more fishing experience, Brock was still the winner.
