Cowlitz County firefighters rescue goats from barn fire

Firefighters with Cowlitz County Fire District #6 rescued several goats from a barn fire Tuesday morning.

Crews were sent to a fire around 7:40 a.m., the fire district reported via Facebook.

When they arrived, they found an outbuilding fully engulfed in flames. Firefighters were able to quickly contain the fire and rescue several goats.

Crews are working to relocate the animals.

There were no injuries reported, and the cause of the fire is unknown.
