An 11-year-old boy is in custody for a second time. Deputies reported the boy allegedly brought weapons onto the campus of a Lynnwood school.

The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Department reported the boy was taken into custody after allegedly bringing two knives to Alderwood Middle School.

“Deputies located the suspect, an 11-year-old boy, who fled on foot,” wrote the sheriff’s office. “Deputies located him and took him into custody.”

The boy—a former Edmonds School District student who attended a nearby elementary school—is currently under arrest, stated deputies.

The sheriff’s office added that a previous lockdown was lifted from the middle school and that no one was injured.

“There is no active threat to students or staff,” law enforcement wrote.
