The USS Abraham Lincoln is now in its 250th day of deployment — the longest continuous stretch without a port call in U.S. naval history. Reports from aboard include black mold, diminished supplies, poor food quality, plumbing failures in up to 25% of the ship, mental health strain, and three reported attempted suicides.
When President Trump was asked about conditions, his response: "Not nearly long enough."
Spike's point: This isn't political. It's 5,000 sailors and airmen who've been overextended and undersupplied. Supporting the troops means telling the truth about what the troops are going through.
