A Local Dolly Parton Tribute
Country legend Dolly Parton passed away earlier this week at 80. Her death has inspired countless tributes from admirers around the world. One closer-to-home homage is coming from the Seattle Men’s Chorus, which is releasing its popular “Dolly: Seattle Men’s Chorus Salutes Dolly Parton” tribute concert online for a limited time. It costs $25 to watch the show, which was performed last year in Seattle, Everett, and Tacoma. All proceeds will go the singer-songwriter’s Imagination Library. Get more details here.
A Children’s Business Fair
Considering supporting young entrepreneurs by stopping by the Sept. 5 Children’s Business Fair at the Waterfront Market at Ruston. The event, running from noon to 3 p.m., will have about 50 budding business owners showing off their wares at their own booths. Find out more here.
