A car crashed into the garage of a home located in Lynnwood Wednesday, causing significant damage.

South County Fire’s Technical Rescue Team was called to respond to the crash at approximately 11:30 a.m. Wednesday. When they arrived at the scene, they found the car had been wedged inside the frame of the home’s garage.

No one was hurt in the accident, South County firefighters confirmed.

“Rescue technicians evaluated the structure. While the garage is significantly damaged, the living area of the home is OK,” South County Fire reported. “No one was home when this happened.”

The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the cause.
