STAGECOACH, Nev. (AP) — In a story published February 26, 2023, about a medical flight crash that killed five in Nevada, The Associated Press erroneously reported an association’s estimate of the number of medical patients who use air ambulance services each month in the United States. The Association of Air Medical Services estimated in a report that more than 550,000 patients in the U.S. use air ambulance services every year, not every month.
