App makes it easier to share family recipes this holiday season

Dec 22, 2014, 11:15 AM | Updated: 11:15 am

No need to try to scribble down recipe notes for those raving about your holiday dishes this year. There’s an app that can make your recipe sharing simpler.

GeekWire selected Kitchenbowl as their app of the week just in time for those holiday gatherings.

“Lots of folks out there want to be able to share their own recipes with other folks,” says GeekWire host Todd Bishop. “What Kitchenbowl lets you do is it allows you to take step-by-step pictures and enter descriptions of your own recipes.”

Recipes can be shared easily with the Kitchenbowl community online. Other users can like and comment on your posts, and it’ll last longer than that yellowed old recipe card your grandma gave you.

In addition to preserving and sharing your own recipes, there’s also lots of other people’s to browse through if you’re looking for last-minute dish ideas.

Download the Kitchenbowl app for free.
