Rep. Couture: Daycare Fraud Is Billions of Your Money
Washington State Representative Travis Couture joins John Curley with an update on the daycare fraud investigation that keeps getting worse — and a union that's now trying to stop journalists from knocking on doors.
One daycare center, licensed for nine children, was receiving between $61,000 and $99,000 PER MONTH in state subsidies. At full capacity with every possible enhancement, it should have received about $20,000. Another center collecting $40,000 a month slammed the door when a journalist asked how to enroll.
