Seattle Won't Let Schools Protect Themselves?

Seattle Public Schools tried to protect its SODO headquarters from RVs and encampments by installing eco-blocks — the same concrete barriers property owners across Seattle have been using to stop tents and vehicles from taking over their sidewalks and streets.

The City of Seattle's response? The blocks are ILLEGAL because SPS didn't get a permit. And SPS just spent roughly $26,400 in public money on them.
