Seattle Police: Woman found dead in South Park alley may be homicide

Police say a woman is dead after being found in an alleyway in Seattle’s South Park neighborhood Sunday morning.

The woman was unresponsive when found in the 1200 block of S. Sullivan Street, and had suffered some sort of trauma.

Witnesses who discovered the scene began calling 911 shortly after 8 a.m. Officers and medics who arrived on scene attempted CPR but were unable to revive her.

According to police, it’s unclear at this time who or what caused the trauma.

Police are asking anyone with information on the case call the Homicide/Assault tip line at (206)233-5000.
