Seattle police are investigating after reports of another shooting inside the Capitol Hill Occupied Protested (CHOP) zone Sunday night.

Harborview Medical Center confirmed that it received a 17-year-old patient with a gunshot wound to his shoulder around 11 p.m., and that his condition at the time of admission was “serious.” That victim was said to have been transported to the hospital in a private vehicle by CHOP medic volunteers.

The victim declined to speak with SPD detectives, and was released from the hospital Monday morning.

Several gunshots can be heard in video taken at the time of the shooting.

Seattle police say they also heard reports of a possible second victim, but were unable to confirm.

This comes in the wake of an early Saturday morning shooting inside the CHOP, that saw a 19-year-old man die after being transported to Harborview in critical condition. A 33-year-old victim from that shooting remains in intensive care at Harborview.

Suspects in either weekend shooting have yet to be identified.
