A 25-year-old Sammamish man was shot and killed in his home Wednesday night during a home invasion robbery.
King County Sheriff’s Sergeant Ryan Abbott says two men broke into a unit at the Highland Garden Apartments in the 4500 block of Klahanie Drive Southeast at about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday. They shot the victim multiple times and then ran away.
King County Sheriff’s deputies and a K-9 unit have been deployed to track them. Two suspects — an 18-year-old and 20-year-old — have been taken into custody. Deputies arrested the third and final suspect, a 24-year-old male, without incident on Thursday afternoon.
The victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center where he died from his wounds.
Detectives believe that the robbery and shooting weren’t random, and that the suspects and the victim likely knew each other.
