Seattle Mayor Katie Wilson announces legislation to fast-track 1,000 new shelter units and emergency housing. The Downtown Seattle Association (DSA) called Wilson’s plan a “bold first step” in addressing the city’s homelessness crisis, adding that services are vital to getting people off the streets.
