Is Seattle Making It Harder to Catch Criminals?

The World Cup is over. And so are Seattle's Stadium District CCTV cameras — again.

Mayor Katie Wilson followed through on her promise to turn the cameras back off after Seattle's final World Cup match, citing lingering privacy concerns and worries the data could be shared with federal authorities for immigration enforcement.

Seattle Police Officers Guild President Kent Loux joined Jake and Spike to push back. Loux says there's ZERO evidence the system has been compromised, and turning off one of the most valuable tools police have while the city is still struggling with public safety issues just doesn't add up.
