Missing brother, sister found safe, mom in custody

Two children reported missing Thursday evening have been found safe.

Pierce County deputies were searching for the children that they believed may have been with their mother who was not supposed to have them.

The Pierce County Sheriff’s office says 38-year-old Temeka Rougutt took her 6-year-old son and 4-year-old daughter around 8 p.m. Thursday.

Relatives say she is unstable and has made threats of suicide in the past.

Rougutt has been taken into custody.
