Man killed in Bothell shooting; deputies search for suspect

Police are investigating after a man was shot and killed in Bothell Friday afternoon.
The victim, a 36-year-old man, was shot outside a residence in the 10 block of 198th Place Southeast.
Police initially responded to a call about a suspicious vehicle in the area around 3 p.m. Shortly after the initial call, a second call to 911 was made reporting that there was a shooting.
According to deputies, they are searching for a suspect, but have not provided a description. Several witnesses have been interviewed at the scene.
The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office said the shooting is a homicide investigation.
The street at 198th Place SE in Bothell is a dead end. Police have closed off access to the street while investigating the shooting.
